Re: rootfs on fxp remains broken for i386

Like some other people, my fxp has also stopped working recently.

In case it may help anyone, I enclose the dmesg output relating to it:

fxp0 at pci0 dev 10 function 0: i82558 Ethernet, rev 5

Additionally I can tell that it seems to be able to read network
traffic -- tcpdump
can trace what happens on the LAN. Nothing seems to be transmitted, however.
