The Sun Netra X1 / T1 use the same:
aceride0: Acer Labs M5229 UDMA IDE Controller (rev. 0xc3)
and I had problems with it when both cannels where active.
If I run "dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/wdc" to wd0 and wd1 in parallel I
got DMA errors. A dd(1) to a single disk made no problems.
