(I am still using kernel from Paul of June 30. The sdmmc works but doesn't
use ld and makes my system very slow when transferring files.)

And Paul apologizes profusely for not having had much time to look into this other ld-at-sdmmc implementation. I will get to it, hopefully sooner rather than later.
