I don't think any imake is used to make Xorg. The xmkmf/imake build
has been mostly stripped out and definitely not maintained in Xorg
few years now. There has even been discussion about removing imake
aha. in which case, making effort to make pkgsrc detect base-installed
imake is wasted energy.
(But that doesn't solve your real problem. Hopefully the other reply
updating pkgsrc helps you.)
It did. I think I still *had* to have X11BASE but I could be wrong.
anyway, I'm much happier it works for the simple stuff like wm/tvtwm
