Hm, I'm not shure about the notebook processors, but on my quad-core
Q6600 I see the following which is OK, I think
Kurt
system idling along:
>-331: envstat
Current CritMax CritMin CritCap Unit
[coretemp0]
cpu0 temperature: 38.000 degC
[coretemp1]
cpu1 temperature: 39.000 degC
[coretemp2]
cpu2 temperature: 32.000 degC
[coretemp3]
cpu3 temperature: 36.000
and after a little workout:
>-335: envstat
Current CritMax CritMin CritCap Unit
[coretemp0]
cpu0 temperature: 43.000 degC
[coretemp1]
cpu1 temperature: 43.000 degC
[coretemp2]
cpu2 temperature: 35.000 degC
[coretemp3]
cpu3 temperature: 39.000
