You could try downgrading if_bnx.c to  1.1.4.5 and see if it helps.
netbsd-4 is currently at 1.1.4.6 but I can't see how this pullup could
cause this problem. Maybe your usage changed and something is eating
more memory or using more network ressources than before ?

What does sysctl kern.mbuf.nmbclusters say ?
