Probably we need bulk-test-gettext :-) But seriously, this seems like
something that would be good to have a full bulk build without/with to
compare, as we get closer to really considering udpating. I have no
idea if it will be mostly fine or a train wreck.

The wip packages are missing the COMMIT_MSG; seeing the NEWS content
would help people understand if this is the huge change that 1.0
implies, vs upstream just deciding to change the version number to
convey stability.

I realize the wip situatio for upgrade testing is awkward, but it seems
things in wip should expect to be in wip, and then somehow have a way to
patch the bl3 in pkgsrc proper to point to wip so people can do builds.

I ran make show-depends in wip/gettext:

  gettext-m4-0.22.5{,nb[0-9]*}:../../devel/gettext-m4
  gettext-tools-0.22.5{,nb[0-9]*}:../../devel/gettext-tools
  gettext-lib>=0.22:../../devel/gettext-lib
  gettext-asprintf>=0.18:../../devel/gettext-asprintf

and it seems off that old versions are accepted by wip/gettext.
