FILE_CKSUM is only for the binary package file itself, not for every
file in the package. Despite the hugely increased generation time,
the output file is only around 6% larger, so that wouldn't be my
primary concern.
OK, I misunderstood then. Does pkgin check the checksums? If so,
having this would probably be beneficial, at least for the official
binary package sets.
