Due to the git repository rehash it's no longer possible to compare, but the commits are still here: https://github.com/TritonDataCenter/pkgsrc/commits/feature/gcc-selection/trunk/ if someone wants to do something similar for pkgsrc.If/when someone commits these to pkgsrc, how do you want to be credited?I don't want credit, I just want this nightmare to be over so I can go back to being able to sleep at night.
Sorry, that was uncalled for. My mental health has been absolutely shot recently because of this situation, but that's no excuse for outbursts, and I apologise.
Obviously my preference would be for me to do this work myself in pkgsrc, but I just can't keep up with everyone constantly breaking the platforms I am responsible for, and until that is resolved I have to do any future work in my fork.
You're welcome to take whatever you want, and I honestly don't mind if you credit me or not, just please do not take things without testing them thoroughly. I cannot guarantee that they will work in a pkgsrc context, they may require additional changes, and the last thing I want is a repeat of the bsd.patch-vars.mk change.
