When trying to enable installation of binary packages (necessary even
when using smartos.org packages, since we must install
mozilla-rootcerts in order to download the smartos bootstrap kit):
/usr/pkg/bin/pkgin: Shared object libarchive.so.4 not found
I'll see if I can get around it by installing rootcerts from source.
mozilla-rootcerts does not contain libarchive shlibs!
You seem to have a mismatch between a pkgin binary and the base system.
ldd and paying close attention is the path to understanding.
