Ok, so we may be in for some surprises:

  /opt/pkg/bin/mksh: ulimit: -m: unknown option
  /opt/pkg/bin/mksh: ulimit: usage: ulimit [-acdfHlnpSstv] [value]
  *** Error code 1

I may not pursue this option much further if there are potential
pitfalls like this.
