pkgsrc gcc discussion #3874

Options:
- globally use a newer compiler
- use the newest compiler that exists (I recall having a patch for it
  that wasn't well-received because it was too much magic)
- at build time, I want to know my grandparent dependency was built
  depending on (gcc6-libs), and depend on (gcc6-libs) too.

if someone can do the third one we'll be golden. does pkgsrc have a way
to convey it?
