wip/iverilog

I packaged iverilog (Icarus Verilog) for inclusion into pkgsrc. After
the fact I noted that there was already a package under name verilog
[1] and it was Icarus.

wip/iverilog was tested by coypu@ with ivtest [2]. It gave the
following results:
Total=2170, Passed=2154, Failed=14, Not Implemented=2, Expected Fail=0

When I look into wip/verilog-current I don't understand whether the
changes and patches are needed, since upstream isn't installing them.

Also the name of the package isn't verbose, doesn't suggest that it's
Icarus variation.

My proposition is to upgrade pkgsrc version with Icarus Verilog from
wip/iverilog and optionally pull in modifications from
wip/verilog-current.

Do we need 4 packages with the same tool, but different name? Can we
obsolete them and stick to stable and optionally -git version?

Can we stick to new iverilog name? For me 'verilog' is like name
'editor' for an editor.

Thank you!
