| In February I started a thread (http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-pkg/2015/02/04/msg014227.html) regarding my pkgtools/R2pkg package, which is a tool like url2pkg intended to make constructing packages easier. In this case, R2pkg automates the process of creating a pkgsrc package for the corresponding R package in CRAN. Please use this as you expand the R packages in pkgsrc. I am interested in improvements so please try it and make suggestions. I hope this will enable pkgsrc developers to improve the set of R packages available while simultaneously reducing the maintenance burden. Thanks. Cheers, Brook |
