Attached is the db4 license from the currently used distfile.
What issues can you see here?

Well, that's an improvement, but it doesn't help much.

I've no problem with manual support for db1 for specific packages, if
there is a point to it. I'd like to get rid of the blanket choice
between the two, because it increases maintenance costs.
