I don't use gmp but with /usr/gnu/bin/cc (gcc version 3.4.3) it folds at
the same point.  I don't know what 'gmp-fat' is but if you disable it
the package builds fine.  I know it's not a fix, but it may get you out
of a hole.

In terms of pkgsrc/OpenSolaris feel free to scream here.  I've started
running it on a few boxes with gcc and have a fair few packages working.
