I would therefore like to re-arrange the package like this: - Apache 1.3.41 will be moved to "pkgsrc/www/apache13". - Apache 2.0.63 will be moved to "pkgsrc/www/apache20". - Apache 2.2.10 will be moved to "pkgsrc/www/apache".Please keep apache22 as is to avoid reintroducing the mess with the next Apache major branch.
apache could be a metapackage which can really install apache22. To tell you the truth, one of the things that I never liked about pkgsrc is that I don't know whether shells/bash or shells/bash3 or whatever is the latest stable bash. I wish I could ALWAYS just pick the package without the version number to get the latest stable version.
