Yes, I know it will. I'm just thinking aloud. Actually, later I found a 'nls'
option listed in mk/defaults/options.description but only devel/tre and
wip/grass use it.

Thank you very much for pointing this out, I'll try it. I thought pkgsrc only
looked for /usr/pkg/etc/mk.conf without trying to read /etc/mk.conf, though.
