Yes it can. I've booted with boot generic.uvd -1c, disabled ehci, and
could panic it "as usual" afterwards. Photos of panic, begin of dmesg
(so you can see I'm not kidding about non-smp and turning off ehci :)

What's next? Panic with USB_DEBUG + UVIDEO_DEBUG + single-cpu +
