I'm not using pf.
I'm not arguing against pf removal, am arguing against your way of arguing.

Because, in the real world, the only viable alternative may turn out to be 
using no firewall at all.
If you have a configuration that can't be reaonably ported, what else to do?
For me (and others) NetBSD is not (only) a research platform. It's a tool 
to get their work done.
