Hi

The script I started with some years ago did have some
problem and wasn't missing -p so since then I've used
a pax version that's updated reliably on all six of
my systems.

I still think this is a driver problem as the error
comes before the cd starts spinning. I've also tried
with three different cds that were burned on same
drive from ubuntu.

I'll try to copy the full cd to hdd and verify
checksums of each of the sets. The cd drive might need
replacing but was used from ubuntu without problem
until last night from netbsd.

David
