That seems like a lot of memory for GENERIC.  73MB - 66MB = 7-ish MB.  I squeezed my 10.0_RC1 kernel down to about 3.5MB used at runtime, I think, but that only saved about 1MB.  Does that lcg0 have dedicated memory?

The generic kernel is using about 7MB, yes. I don't know/remember what bits are using up memory. Of course, if you strip things down, you'll be able to shrink the memory requirements.
