I would expect it to outperform any real hardware :-)
Not quite. simh on either a Ryzen 2600 or an Intel Core i7 6700K is somewhere between the speed of a VAXstation 4000/60 and 4000/90, although more often closer to the 4000/90 for many operations.
I'll be uploading some basic images and a quick simh how-to later today so it'll be easier for people to try things.
