Hello,

now that I got and XVR-100 board we can officially claim that it's supported:
genfb1 at pci1 dev 1 function 0: ATI Technologies Radeon 7000/VE QY
genfb1: framebuffer at 0xe2024000, size 1152x900, depth 8, stride 1280
wsdisplay0 at genfb1 kbdmux 1: console (default, vt100 emulation)
wsmux1: connecting to wsdisplay0

I'll give radeonfb a shot later on.

Here we go:
radeonfb0 at pci1 dev 1 function 0: ATI Technologies Radeon 7000/VE QY
radeonfb0: Video BIOS not present
radeonfb0: No video BIOS, using default clocks
radeonfb0: refclk = 27.000 MHz, refdiv = 12 minpll = 125000, maxpll = 350000
radeonfb0: 32 MB aperture at 0x04000000, 64 KB registers at 0x08000000
radeonfb0: display 0: initial virtual resolution 640x480 at 32 bpp
radeonfb0: port 0: physical 1024x768 60Hz
radeonfb0: port 1: physical 1024x768 60Hz
init engine
wsdisplay0 at radeonfb0 kbdmux 1: console (fb, vt100 emulation)
wsmux1: connecting to wsdisplay0

The only problem is that my monitor doesn't support DDC so radeonfb defaults to 1024x768 at 60Hz. All we need is MD code to extract the pixel clock or something equivalent from the firmware so we can tell radeonfb which mode to set up to match the firmware's.

Otherwise radeonfb Just Works(tm).

have fun
Michael
