I didn't do anything, genfb worked out of the box ;)
On the other hand, this is the first time I see genfb Just Work(tm)  
on previously untested hardware. It's not even all that slow, the  
card is 66MHz capable so in an U60 you really want it in  the upper  
slot. Too bad it's not 64bit though.

Yes, this one has a VGA, DVI and an S-Video output. It even came with  
a VGA->13W3 cable.

I didn't try X yet although X -configure found the card and wrote a  
valid configuration:

        Identifier  "Card0"

        BoardName   "Radeon RV100 QY [Radeon 7000/VE]"
        BusID       "PCI:0:0:0"
