You better start building ( yes, from pkgsrc ), it's going to take a  
while ;)
I expect most of KDE to Just Work(tm) with this version of the  
driver, there are a few issues left but I'll hopefully be able to  
deal with them in the next few days.
Waiting won't buy you anything, the driver has absolutely no impact  
on compatibility with X clients.
