so much for the cvs server

The CVS server is essentially gone, for two reasons.  The first is that it
wasn't serving much of a useful purpose; the second is that the owner of
the machine it was on has gone absolutely ballistic on me.  I no longer
consider that host reliable for permanent storage.


So yet another reason to merge with -current :)
