Hi, Andy,
These VIA CPUs have their own AES and RNG implementation called
padlock. As far as I remember from testing my VT-310DP board few years
back padlock support was disabled by default in NetBSD kernel. You
need to uncomment "#padlock0 at cpu0 # VIA PadLock" line in GENERIC
and recompile the kernel.
