It's the "big" iMac: Core-i7 2,93Ghz with 12GB RAM, 1T Disk. So 4 real cores.
Hm, I could try on the MacPro at work w/ 2 quad core Xeons (2,26GHz)...

NFS _is_ a problem when used bridged (at least to the air port interface):
brought all network traffic to a halt. So I added a host-only interface for
NFS only... (But that holds for Fusion, too, IIRC.)

Hm, maybe I should play with the source on a virtual hard disk, too, and
see what gives... (Will be easy if Santa Claus brings the huge badge of
round tuits I had first on the wish list ;-)
