Psion 5mx Bootloader for NetBSD

Hello,

I have been trying for a long time to boot NetBSD on a Psion Series 5mx
Pro, but I am stuck at the boot loader stage.

As far as I can tell, the NetBSD/epoc32 port, which lists the 5mx Pro
as supported, needs e32boot.exe (plus the accompanying files) to start
the kernel. The original binaries that KIYOHARA Takashi announced in
2012 at
http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/kiyohara/epoc32
return a 404 error now. I have found the source in the NetBSD tree
(sys/arch/epoc32/stand/e32boot), but no pre-built binary.

I also tried to build it myself, but without success.
Could anyone help me with one of the following?

A pre-built e32boot.exe (and any required DLLs or other files) that
works on the Series 5mx Pro

A pointer to an archived copy of the original kiyohara/epoc32 directory

If there are any known differences between the 5mx and the 5mx Pro that
affect booting (for example a different e32boot build or settings), I
would be very grateful for a hint. I am happy to share my results and
build notes afterwards so that the documentation can be improved.

Thank you very much for your time.

Best regards

Jörg
