re: Soildrun Honeycomb LX2 boot issue

i don't have a good idea about the underlying problem, but i can explain
how my manually installed LX2K is setup, using the latest firmware i found
on solidrun's website:

Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Avail %Cap Mounted on
/dev/ld4a 917744460 390904956 480952284 44% /
/dev/ld4e 81820 384 81436 0% /boot

 a: 1850000000 196608 4.2BSD 0 0 0 # (Cyl. 12*- 115169*)
 b: 33554432 1850196608 swap # (Cyl. 115169*- 117258*)
 c: 1953525168 0 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 0 - 121601*)
 e: 163840 32768 MSDOS # (Cyl. 2*- 12*)

-r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel 196032 Jun 25 2022 /boot/efi/boot/bootaa64.efi*

ie, i'm using a MBR partition, not GPT, but the UEFI firmware should work
with both MBR or GPT to find "/efi/boot/bootaa64.efi" in a FAT32 volume.

Martin, ie, whatever sysinst is doing on x86 it should really be able to
do the exact same thing on this platform (just bootaa64.efi instead of
eg, bootia32.efi / bootx64.efi.) *iff* booted in UEFI mode..

.mrg.
