It is OK.  *-old.ub image is support very old u-boot including endian
bug.

It is problem.  Can you re-build and try with:

options        VERBOSE_INIT_ARM
options        MVSOC_CONSOLE_EARLY

However, I'm sorry.  I have not used these options. X-<

Maybe OK.  u-boot 1.1.4(Marvell customized) not has expanding buffer
over 4Mbyte.  Me too.

I always use netbsd.ub on my SheevaPlug.
