I also de-underclocked it this morning and it's quite a bit snappier
than it was before:

I didn't know how to find out in NetBSD how fast the CPU is (I've
never had any reason to do this before), so I installed the Unslung
firmware. I confirmed in the Linux /proc/cpuinfo that this was a slow
one, and I took out the resistor and now it's faster.
