>I think you may have found the issue! :-) Well, thanks to everyone for their help! I changed that code to simply disable RTC updates during the setting of the RTC, based on the FreeBSD and the NetBSD i386-specific rtc code, and now I'm within a few milliseconds after a time step. Hooray! --Ken
