Amiga as a web server

Hi,

I sure hope that there is someone out
there that is willing to help me?

I have been running a web server on my
2000 for probly two years. I have been
having some problems with it seens I
upgrade it, and the computer is not as
stable as I would like it to be. I can
not run cgi's without it crashing. I
have tryed different thing for over 6
months but nothing has really helped.

So I tryed to install Linux. But it
can't see my hard drive controller or
my ethernet card. (This really makes
it hard to install) I have been trying
to install Linux seens December but
I can make it work. So a bunch of
people told me to try NetBSD, and they
told me where to find your web site.

So, I thought that before I tryed to
install NetDSB on my system, I would
find out if it would run on it.

I have a 2000 with a GVP-M TekMagic 060
card with 128 megs of ram, a Ariadne II
ethernet card, and two 4.5 gig hard drives.
The hard drives are being run off the
GVP 060 card. I have looked at your list
of supported hardware, and the Ariadne II is
list but the GVP 060 card is not list as a
support scsi controller. However, I think
that the GVP 060 card uses a 53c710 or 53c770
controller. Does this mean it will work, or
will NetBSD have a problem with the GVP
Bootroms. (I think that Linux could not see the
scsi controller because of the GVP bootroms.)

I would like to know if I will be able to
use a hardrive that I larger that 4 gigs with
NetBSD? Also will an 060 Amiga running NetBSD
be fast enough to run a web server that gets
1000's of hits a days?

Thanks in advance,
Al
