You are using, if at all, a highly experimental driver which has been
completely replaced in the meantime.

Try the NetBSD-1.3_ALPHA test snapshot available at ftp.netbsd.org, or
(as soon as available) the _BETA or 1.3 final.

They have a new driver for ncr53c9x.c base boards, like the Blizzards,
which is much more relable.
