Re: devel/libtool in 2025Q2 depend on gcc10?

пн, 18 авг. 2025 г., 02:29 Andrew Randrianasulu <randrianasulu%gmail.com@localhost>:
I am trying to build libtool on emulated (in qemu) NetBSD/sparc32 10.1

Sysinst fetched pkgsrc-2025Q2 and typing "make install" in /usr/pkgsrc/devel/libtool set build process ..

but now I noticed that it tries to build gcc10 as dependency ?!

ok, mystery solved - libtool was meta package, probably trying to build libtool-fortran with gcc10. Now, when  gcc10 build ran out of swap space (wink!) I thankfully have libtool-base 2.4.7nb1 so cinelerra-gg build can continue!

Isn't gcc from base enough for normally small package?

There is (apparently) no binary libtool pkg for NetBSD/sparc32, this heavy dep. might explain that?
