Talking about it is one thing, actually successfully doing it is
quite another.  I foresee that briding that gap is more than what
I am capable of chewing off at the moment.

Well, at least the "traditional" way of building new firefox
versions now appears to be doomed on i386.

Sorry to give a bit of pessimistic vibes...
Hopefully someone sees this as a challenge :)
