I have rebuilt some but not all pkgsrc binaries too.

The backtrace above was from gdb.

Running ktrace with userland built with full debug, mplayer runs fine.

Running ktrace with non-debug userland shows the crash being from just
after a call to __getdents30() when mplayer is looking for subtitle
files.
