This is all the result of months of work, I think I spent about a day
on Python. MacPorts provided some clues.

I'm using UDMA 7 128gb compact flash cards. I had bad luck
with cheap mSATA adapters that didn't understand that IDE
has multiple modes, and some operating systems are picky.
