Agree that it shouldn't be pulled up.  For what it's worth, my regular
OS X bulk builds have now been switched to X11_TYPE=modular, e.g.

  http://us-east.manta.joyent.com/pkgsrc/public/reports/Darwin/trunk/x86_64/20151009.1713/meta/report.html

They will be posted to pkgsrc-bulk@ regularly (every time I push to
trunk), however the binary packages aren't made available so only
suitable for build issues.
