I compiled 30.0nb1 from 2014Q2 and it started up without segfault and
did work as expected until I closed it. I had all options disabled,
including pulseaudio. I usually use 24 (on Q2) so I did my brief
testing on fresh account with no old firefox files.

I'm running 6.1_STABLE (GENERIC) amd64 from june with native X11.

I would check first if it says anything interesting when started from
xterm, then possibly without using old files (~/.mozilla - move or try
on separate account, though there might also be usable commandline
option).
