Yes. All powerpc ports use GCC 5.3 as of:

When the GCC version updated, I rebuilt all my releases from scratch
again.

I also had trouble building gobject-introspection on amd64. I was even
using a snapshot build rather than my own. I ultimately wiped out all
of my packages as some were built with GCC 5.3 and then
gobject-introspection itself built fine and most packages that required
it built fine, but then I ran up against "gstreamer0.10" on i386 and
"gstreamer1" on amd64. Attempting to build either of those produces
the failures while using gobject-introspection I've logged here.
I'm in the midst of updating with my first 7.99.33 build and will try
again soon.
