 After commenting out the BUILDLINK_TRANSFORM in x11/tk/buildlink3.mk, I got:
 
 $ ldd /usr/pkgsrc/20120822/bin/ical
          libtk8.5.so =>   /usr/pkgsrc/20120822/lib/libtk8.5.so
          libtcl85.so =>   /usr/pkgsrc/20120822/lib/libtcl85.so
 
 At least this package and Solaris accept both naming schemes. Unless 
 there are environments that don't handle the original names, I see no 
 reason for changing the upstream convention.
