"Again" because I asked the same question already a few lines above (not part of your quote).
The problem to be solved is that IEEE Std 1003.1-2008 contains a getline() function which is provided by NetBSD, which conflicts with the private getline() function in this code.
Thanks for the info. This will be part of NetBSD 6.0? Because I checked both NetBSD 5.1 and Solaris, and there getline() is not a known function.
