        That's totally understandable.  I really appreciate all the help and 
 dedication that everyone does volunteer on this, and I completely 
 understand what it's like to be a volunteer as I've helped out with 
 many other organizations over the years.
 
        Thanks for everything that all you of do already.

        Oh, just so you know, I'm actually using Apache 2.2 as well, and 
 also using it with mod_perl2.  The OS was installed from one of the 
 ISOs (for amd64), and then everything was compiled from pkgsrc (I did 
 not take any binaries at all from anywhere).
 
        As a quick feedback/side-note, DBI (and DBIx a.k.a. DBIC) all work 
 very VERY well under NetBSD on Apache HTTPd v2.2 with mod_perl2 and 
 libapreq2 -- you folks did a great job with all of this.
