 i'm starting them from the command line.
 as firefox, firefox-linux(2.0.0.17), firefox3
 
 I reinstalled, and now the problem is seemingly gone.
 But i think it is reproducible again. i have seen it also at
 a solaris station. it might be because of ff3 and 2 sharing
 the same profile. I investigate if the problem reoccurs.
