>Description:
When a new version of x11/xdm is installed, instead of preserving the
already-existing configuration files and shell scripts in /usr/pkg/lib/X11/xdm,
it overwrites them. This is an annoyance to those of us who customize these
files, in particular those of us who want to grant XDMCP access, as by default
XDMCP access is not allowed in the default configuration. Other packages do
not do this.
>How-To-Repeat:
Deinstall and reinstall the x11/xdm package.
>Fix:
Check if these files already exist and, if they do and there have been no
changes to their format, leave them alone during the installation.
