 Hi Joerg,
 
 this patch is available now. Which time frame is estimated before bdb will 
 be part of libnbcompat? I've read about a lot of questions regarding 
 pkg_install and bdb on pkgsrc-users@ archive.
 
 I understand that you wont apply a patch which will become obsolete in near 
 future. But maybe it makes sense for those who require a solution for now to 
 tell them about the availability of this workaround.
