Re: Bad network performance in virtualbox

I seem to have solved it, it seems related to Netbsd trying to connect to a ip6 address that it can't utilize and waiting on that when doing various networking tasks. So if one disables that it should be fine.

Hello! Im running netbsd 11 in virtualbox on freebsd. I've tried to do
simple networking stuff like installing small packages with pkgin but
the performance makes it impossible basically. I've tried using the
defaults for networking and also changing to bridged networking and
virtio but no avail. To rule out anything else I installed a freebsd
VM which had no issues with speed. Is there some particular
combination of networking settings for virtualbox needed for netbsd to
get good performance?
